SPANISH NEUTRALITY
BURGOS, July 14.
' General Franco in a statement said; "I refuse to believe that there will be i a war. There is no question that cannot be settled peacefully. Danzig is not, worth a war; from It Poland would gain nothing, War would in any event be fatal for Poland, and tneyitabV would compromise Britain's system of communications, which constitute her imperial structure. "Britain should rejoice if Italy, Spain, and Portugal were united by the same ideology in friendship and affection, because they would allow her to be their friend.
