Mr. W. A. Armour, principal of Wellington College, recently initiated an interchange of visits between senior boys of various New Zealand secondary schools. Three weeks ago Wellington College had a visit from a party of 34 boys and three masters from the Otago Boys' High School, and now it is the turn of a contingent "of boys from Wellington College to travel. This afternoon 50 of them left by train for Auckland on a good-will visit to the Auckland Grammar School. They were accompanied by Mr. Armour and lour masters.

The party will spend the weekend and part of Monday in Auckland. They will leave on the return journey on Monday afternoon and arrive here on Tuesday morning. While they are in Auckland the majority of the party will be billeted with Grammar School boys.

The visitors will sgo sight-seeing around Auckland tomorrow .morning, and in the afternoon they will attend a Rugby match at Takapuna between Auckland Grammar School and Takapuna Grammar School. Tomorrow night they will attend a dance in the Auckland Grammar School hall, and on Sunday morning will attend a church service at St. Matthew's conducted by the Rev. Canon R. G. Coats. On Sunday afternoon they will be taken on an extensive motor drive:by ■the Auckland branch of the Wellington College Old Boys' Association and | will be the guests of the branch at afternoon tea.

The Wellington boys will attend assembly at the Auckland Grammar School on Monday morning, and later the first fifteens of the two colleges will meet in a Rugby match. After the match they will be the guests of the Auckland Grammar School Old Boys' Association at luncheon in the Chamber of Commerce building.

Mr. Armour stated today that the object of such visits was to develop the idea of friendship among the boys. He was more than satisfied with the way the scheme had worked out so far, and he hoped that it would be token up by other schools.
