Prices of live and dressed poultry in the Wellington market are quoted by Townsend and Paul, Ltd., as follows: — Fowls—White Leghorns: Hens, 2s 9d to 3s 6d each; cockerels, lOd to Is a lb; pullets best 6s to 8s each, others 3s to sd. Black Orpingtons: Hens, heavy, 4s to 7s each; medium, 3s to 4s; cockerels, heavy, lOd to Is Id a lb; medium, lOd to Is Id. Rhode Island Reds: Cockerels, heavy, lOd to Is 2d alb. Ducks —Indian Runner: Young, 4s to 7s each; old, 3s to 4s. White: Young, 4s to 6s 6d; heavy, 3s to 6s. Geese—4s to 7S each.
Turkeys—ls Id to Is 2d a lb. Dressed Poultry—Boilers, heavy, 3s to 4s each; light, 2s 6d to 3s each; chickens, lOd to Is a lb; ducks, 3s to ss; geese. 3s to 4s; turkeys. Is to Is 2d a lb.
