SALES
REMARKABLE GROWTH
The milk committee reported to the City Council last night a continued increase in the business done by the department. During June, milk sales averaged 7433 gallons daily, which was 833 gallons, or 12.62 per cent., in excess of the sales for the corresponding month of last year. By the same comparison, cream sales showed an increase of 24.64 per cent.
The sales of milk to nearby farmers averaged 739 gallons daily, as compared with 432 gallons for the corresponding month of last year.
