OLD BOYS' ASSOCIATION
Tlie annual meeting of the Scot* College Old Boys' Association was held las.t- night, the president, Mr. A. _ H. Campbell, presiding.
The executive's report, which was adopted by the meeting, seated that the life membership had increased by 19, and stood at 209,. and the annual members numbered 36. The income was £59, of which a record amount rof £47 was from subscriptions. The excess of income over expenditure was ■ £ 19. Mr. Campbell had replaced Mr. L. J. B. McKelvie as, the association's representative on the board of governors, Mr. McKelvie having retired. Mr. I. H. Macarthur remained the other representative. During the year the association applied for membership of the recently-formed Combined Secondary Schools Old Boys' Association, Mr. Campbell being its representative oa. the council. . , Officers were elected as follows:— j Patron, Mr. K. W. R. Glasgow; presi- ! dent, Mr. I. M. Plimmer; vice-presi-dents, Messrs. A. L. Wall, A. P. Smith, W. M. King, P. C. Watt, J. A. Foster, E. Scotland, L. R. McKelvie, H. B. Gibbons, J. T. Martin, I. Fraser, J. Leuchars, and J. R. Sutcliffe, and Dr. A. W. Hogg; deputy-chairman, Mr. G. W. Li. Hanlon; committee, Messrs. S. A. Scotland; S. F. B. Geddis, A. Kr Campbell, M. G. Turner, A: N. Newton, and J. F. Julius; auditor, Mr. J. L.. Arcus. The office of secretarytreasurer remains to be filled. A fund having been opened by the college parents' association to;provide kilts for the college cadets instead of the ordinary cadet uniforms, the asso' ciation decided to give £7 7s. The association will hold its annual dinner tonight and its annual ball tomorrow night.
