LONDON, July 4.

The Duke of Kent, speaking at the American Society's Independence Day dinner, paid a tribute to the enthusiasm of the reception to their Majesties in the United States. The Duke added that such spontaneous expressions of friendship were most encouraging in these troublous times and proved that the ideal of peace could undoubtedly be achieved.
