SYDNEY, This Day.
The telegraph offices on metropolitan racecourses which seven proprietary racing clubs intended to abolish in order, to curtail starting-price betting will remain open until the end of the year, as a result of an agreement between the Chief Secretary, Mr. Gollan, and representatives of the clubs.
