ROUGH WEATHER IN STRAIT
Although shipping has not been affected greatly by the unsettled weather during the last day or two, the coastal steamer Kaitoa, relieving the Arahura in the Nelson ferry service, was delayed by rough weather in Cook Strait this morning and arrived at Wellington two hours late. She left Nelson at 7 o'clock last night, and when she got into the Strait high seas were running and she had to contend with a fairly strong south-south-west wind. She berthed at Queen's Wharf, No. 12, at about 9.15 a.m.
