NO CONFIDENCE

OPPOSITION MOVED

DECISION OF CAUCUS

In accordance with the usual practice the Leader of the Opposition (the Hon. A. Hamilton) will move a noconfidence amendment when making his speech in the Address-in-Reply debate in the House of Representatives tonight. The amendment will embrace eight points dealing with the position of the country on which Mr. Hamilton proposes to base his examination of the effect of the Government's policy.

The text of the amendment was discussed and approved at a caucus of Opposition members held after the House rose last night. '
