MORE BALES BUT LESS MONEY

Th§ recession in. ayqoJ prices is illustrated by figures issued by the National Council of Wool-selling Brokers. • The value of wool sold in Sydney during the twelve months ended Juno 30 was £15,077,537, a fall of £2,543,884 compared with the rs. turn for th§ wool sold in 1937-38. Tho season's turnover this year was 1,143,856 bales, 48,834 bales more than for the previous season.
