A 5-mile run was held over the Brooklyn and Mornington districts last Saturday at the invitation of Mr. A. Bourgeois. There were 40 runners in attendance, and the fast pack made good time for the distance. The runin resulted:—-N. Hewitt 1, O'Shea 2, and Scobie 3. Next week's event is the Ballantyne Memorial Cup race, over a 5-mile course from the Miramar tennis pavilion, and it will be held at the invitation of Mr. W. Ballantyne, sen., president of the club.
