HORTICULTURAL SOCIETY MEETING.
The annual meeting of. the Wellington Horticultural Society will be held in the English-speaking Union's rooms, Nathan's .Buildings, tomorrow night, and Mrs. J. A. McPherson, director of the Christchurch Domains Board, will give a. lecture on "Hardy Trees and Shrubs.*' Viscount Bledisloe Trophy for the society's native garden competition will, be presented to this year's winner, and other trophies will also be presented.
