FEAR OF BEING DRAGGED
INTO CATASTROPHE

Although the Italian Press takes a dutiful axis line, there is manifest uneasiness among the people, as it is feared Italy will be dragged into a catastrophe on the German war
chariot on an issue which is really not Italy's concern.
The wireless stations broadcast a denial of a report that Signor Mussolini and Herr Hitler met secretly last week.
