NO CONFIDENCE

MOTION PROBABLE

It can be taken for granted that a motion of no confidence in the administration of the Labour Government will be moved before the Address-in-Reply debate has progressed very far. The Leader of the Opposition (the Hon. Adam Hamilton) stated today that the Opposition members would hold a caucus and if a no-confidence motion was decided upon he would move it when he entered the debate on Wednesday. Tentative arrangements have been made to hold the caucus after the mover and seconder of the Address in Reply have spoken tomorrow night.

Mr. Hamilton expects to make the opening speech from the Opposition benches on Wednesday afternoon.
