Sutch, of the staff of the Minister of Finance, in the course of a public address at Victoria College last night, quoted the following figures, the comparative figures for marketing outside the Department's scheme being shown in parentheses: —Average price realised, 7s 2d per head (6s sd); transport costs. 11.9 d per head (Is 3d); calves condemned. 2 per cent. (5 per cent.). "That shows that something has been done, something has been achieved," said the speaker.
