COALS TO NEWCASTLE
SHEEP FOR LINCOLNSHIRE
(By Telegraph.) (Special to the "Evening Post.") BLENHEIM, This Day. An order for five ewe Lincoln hoggets and a one-shear ram for shipment to Mr. Stewart Deans, of Lincolnshire, was executed today by Mr. W. M. Bithell, the well-known Marlborough breeder. The animals were shipped on the first, stage of their long journey on the Tamahine to Wellington. The order arose from a ram which Mr. Bithell last year sent to the Argentine at the price of £430, and the English breeder, Mr. Deans, became interested in securing animals from the same source. Mr. Bithell has also forwarded three shearling Lincoln rams to the Argentine, one being a full-brother to that which fetched the big price last year. Other rams bound for the same destination are two shearling Corriedales, one owned by Mr. J. F.. Neal, of Seddon, and the other by Mr. R. ■ T. Laidlaw, of Omaka. These animals will be put up for sale by auction j in the Argentine in the same manner as was Mr. Bithell's sheep sold last year.
