WEDDING

NEIL—GRIFFIN.

The marriage of Maureen, daughte* of Mr. and the late Mrs. Michael Griffin, of Wellington, to Arch, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. A. Neil, of Westport, took place recently at St. Mary of the Angels' Church, Boulcott Street, Wellington. The Rev. Father Stewart, S.M., performed the ceremony. The bride wore a model gown of marrow beige lace and carried a bouquet of autumn-tinted chrysanthemums and gladioli. She was attended by her sister, Miss Eileen Griffin, who wore an ensemble of navy blue embroidered georgette and carried a poSy in cyclamen tonings. Mr. Claude Lincoln was the best man. A reception was afterwards held at 3 Hadfield Terrace, Kelburn, residence of Mrs. R. Instone, who together with Miss Kathleen Griffin, sister of the bride, received the guests. Among those present were Mr. M. Griffin (father of the bride), Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Halley, Mr. and Mrs. E. Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Fletcher, Mrs. Campbell, Mr. and Mrs. K. Auld, Mrs. Pat Herbert. Mr. and Mrs. H. Earle, Mr. and Mrs. C. Ashberry, Misses M. Wilson, E. Scarlette, G. Cooney, J. Martin, W. O'Connell, T.- Pimley, M. Cotter, J. Halley, N. Symonds, Z. Isbister, O'Sullivan, and Messrs. W. McKay, Neil Instone, Clarke, Major Weir.

The future home of Mr. and Mrs. Neil will be Hotel Westland, Hokitika.
