GENERAL PERSHING DEFIES DOCTOR

(Independent Cable Service.) LONDON, June. 8. General Pershing arrived in Plymouth today on his way to Paris. He is keeping a promise given to his American troops during the Great War that he would visit France every year to make sure that the graves were well tended. General Pershing is making his twenty-first trip in defiance of his doctor's warning that another trip to France would mean his death.
