THREATENED REDUCTION

BRITISH MANUFACTURERS' PROTEST (Received June 7, 9 a.m.) LONDON, June 6. Rayon interests are ..protesting against the threatened reduction of imports of knitted rayon fabrics into New Zealand. The Manufacturers' Association is in constant communication with the New Zealand Government, claiming that 20,000 British workers would be affected.

The association is making contact with Mr. Nash, New Zealand Minister of Finance, from whom it hopes for satisfactory assurances.
