MISHAP WITH CAR

TRAM SERVICE DELAYED

. Fog and a slippery road were probably responsible for a motor-car driven by a woman running through a fence and over a slight bank a short distance on the city side of the Northland Tunnel this morning. The motorcar was only slightly damaged. It stopped with its rear part over the tramlines, making it impossible for the Northland tram service to operate for nearly thirty minutes.

The motor-car was hauled back on to the roadway and driven away.
