STUDENT PILOTS IN STATES
The expansion programme of the American Army Air Corps provides for the flight training of 20,000 student pilots. Thirteen colleges and universities are first to train 330 pilots in a test of a widespread teaching plan. If the results prove satisfactory to the Federal Government, the work will go on until 20,000 young men are graduated and made available to man the aircraft proposed under the hew armament legislation.
