MUSICAL APPRECIATION

The Hutt Valley Memorial Technical College, in an endeavour to cater for the cultural side of life as well as the practical is, in addition to its art and other classes of a like nature, establishing evening classes in musical appreciation on Tuesdays. The classes will be conducted by Mr. R. E. McLay, 8.A., who has had considerable experience in lecturing to adults on this subject and who is the author of a recent publication, "The Appreciation of Music." No previous knowledge of music is required by those attending these classes, which will be fully illustrated by means of piano and the finest available recorded music. The first class will be held on June 13. ,
