SOCIETY'S REAL NAME
The fact that a testator- in a will case in the Supreme Court at Invercargill had bequeathed a legacy to "the Plunket Society" was remarked on by counsel. Everybody, he said, thought the name of the society was the Plunket Society, but actually its real name was the Royal New Zealand Society for the Health of Wom&n and Children. There could, however, be no doubt as to its identity. In an affidavit the New Zealand secretary had referred to "the aims and objects of the society,- commonly called the Plunket Society." Mr. Justice Blair agreed that very few persons knew the real name of tKe society. Counsel added that in all reports the society was referred to as "the Plunket Society." ;
