BODY ON ROCKS
WELLINGTON MAN

CHRISTCHURCH, May 20. The body of Mr. H. L. Leithwaite, Wellington, was found on the rocks below the highest point of Whitewash Head. Sumner, today
Mr. R. A. King, a member of the Sumner Lifeboat Brigade, found a man's overcoat at the top of the cliff. One pocket contained money and a letter which indicated that Mr.. Leithwaite was absent on sick leave from the Post and Telegraph Department, Wellington. Mr. King communicated with Constable Kearney, and a search was made with a boat. The sea being smooth, little difficulty was experienced in recovering the body.
