GOALS PLENTIFUL
TECHNICAL BEAT DIAMOND Technical College Old Boys made no mistake in their rout of Diamond on the second ground at the Basin Reserve. It seemed in ihe first half, when Technical netted four times, that Diamond's chance might come with the wind behind them in the second half, but their two goals were equalled by Technical, whose front line was in devastating mood. Starch, Diamond's excellent English inside-right, could not turn out, and he left an irremediable gap. The game was not so one-sided as the 6-2. final score might indicate, but Technicals movements had more finish. . The most successful player in the game was Wrigley, outside-right for Technical, who was responsible for four of Technicals six goals. He showed pace and initiative, and not one of his drives looked like going astray. The other scorers for Technical were A. and N. Gates, and Bold, Diamond's centre-forward, scored both Diamond's goals. Technical 6, Diamond The referee was Mr. A. Preston.
