WELLINGTON BEAT NEW PLYMOUTH

An eleven representing the Wellington Colleges beat the visiting New Plymouth High School team by 3 goals to 0 at the Basin Reserve on Saturday. It was a fast and interesting game, and not as one-sided as the score would indicate. Wellington led 2-0 at the interval, and scored in the second spell. R. Singer, at inside left, and J, Thompson, at right back, were outstanding for Wellington, and for New Plymouth the best boys were W. Edwards, in goal, and J. Jenkins, the left wing. The referee was Mr. J. .Tamleson. :
