N.S.W. AMATEUR GOLF
SYDNEY, May 18.
Play in the New South Wales amateur golf championship reached the final stage today with last year's titleholder, J. Ferrier, still prominently in the picture, his match in the semi-finals against. T. Tanner giving him victory by 8 and 7.
In the other match, A. N. Waterson beat J. C. Barkel, 9 and 7. Waterson is playing magnificent golf.
