A NEW CLUB DESIRED

Efforts are being made to revive racing in the Far North, and at a meeting held in Kaitaia recently, it was decided to form a club, to be known as the Northland Racing Club. It was stated that a suitable course could be secured close to Kaitaia.

It is now about seven years since the Waipapakauri Racing Club, which formerly raced at the Waipapakauri course, not far from Kaitaia, was disbanded, and now there is not a race meeting north of Whangarei, the Kawakawa course having also been closed.
