CAR AND!LORRY COLLIDE

GISBORNE, This Day.

In a collision at Motuhora between a car and a truck yesterday, Sister A. Pritchard, district nurse, was seriously injured. The tray of the lorry stripped the windscreen and hood from the driver's seat and the car was reduced to wreckage.

The injured woman was taken 40 miles to hospital.
