SERIOUS INJURIES
UNUSUAL ACCIDENT - • / (By -Telegraph— Press Association.) ASHBURTON, This Day. A" fractured pelvis and serious internal injuries were received by Osburne McQueen, an employee of the Public Works; Department, at the Klondyke headworks of the Rangitata water diversion scheme. Mr. McQueen was closing the door of a small galvanised iron, storage - shed when the building •was blown over by a north-west gale, the corner of the roof striking him. He is a married man, aged 31, and resides in Christchurch. His condition is satisfactory.
