PITTAMS.—At the Taumarunui Hospital, on April 30, 1939, Charles Pittams, dearly beloved husband of Margaret Pittams; aged 70 years. Interred this day at Taumarunui Cemetery.

ROWLANDS.—On May 2, 1939, at Palmerston North, Emily Theresa, widow of William Rowlands, late of Fitzherbert, and mother of Miss A. ■ Bowlands, Wellington; Mrs. V. Monrad, Palmerston North; and Mrs. W. B. Gillies, Masterton.
