KAIMAI RETURNS TO
AUCKLAND

AUCKLAND, This Day.
Slight engine trouble when rounding North Cape caused the return today of the Union Company's cargo steamer Kaimai, which was bound for Westport under charter to the Westport Coal Company. When the vessel berthed the master stated that the trouble was slight and would soon be rectified. It is expected that the voyage will be resumed at 5 p.m. today.
