BIGGER DUNEDIN STAKES
■ , (By Telegraph.). 1 (Special to the "Evening Post.") DUNEDIN, This Day. The Dunedin Jockey Club has increased its' stakes for the Winter Meeting by £475. The Otago Steeplechase is now worth £500, the Wingatui Steeplechase £300, and the Dunedin Steeplechase £250. The Birthday Handicap has been, raised to £350, and the Provincial Handicap to £300. The Duke of Gloucester Cup will carry a stake of £200. All hack races have received an increase of £25.
