His Excellency the Governor-General presided at a meeting of the Executive Council at Government > House this morning.
During the morning her Excellency Lady Galway, accompanied by her children, paid a visit to the Dominion. Monarch.
This evening his Excellency will leave Wellington for the north to fulfil a number of engagements.
