BUS DOOR OPENED
CHILD'S NARROW ESCAPE
While a railway bus w,as crossing the Hutt Bridge today, a child opened the rear emergency door and fell on to the bridge. A lorry which was following the bus managed to pull up suddenly and did not touch the child, who appeared to be uninjured, but was nevertheless taken to a doctor for examination.
