EXCHANGE SYSTEM

AERO TECHNICIANS

ENGLAND AND AUSTRALIA

CANBERRA. March 30.

' It is..announced today that an important phase of Australia's plan for the construction of military ■ pianos will be the establishment of an elaborate exchange system for technicians. Probably 80 or 100 picked engineers wil] be sent to the works in England, where the Beaufort planes, which will later be produced in Australia, are being made.

The idea is to create a trained corps of aeroplane engineers in Australia who will help in the general objective of making Australia self-contained in civil and military aircraft construction.
