PARIS, March 30,

The Head of the French General Staff (General Gamelin) personally conducted Viscount Gort, Chief of the British General Staff, and members of the staff, on an inspection of the Maginot Line. Many of the units of the 500,000 troops concentrated in the districts through which the line runs performed exercises in the afternoon and were watched by the British visitors.
