MILITARY TRAINING
COMPULSION URGED

PALMERSTON N., This Day.
"That the Government be urged to restore compulsory military training and adjust the Territorial Forces to the* 1921 level," was the text of a resolution carried at a large meeting of citizens addressed by the Hon. W Perry, M.L.C., on behalf of the New Zealand Defence League, after the speaker had stressed the menace of aggression and the need for preparedness in the Dominion.
