CHANGES ANNOUNCED
NEW REGISTRAR FOR
WELLINGTON
A number of promotions among Court officers consequent upon recent retirements have been announced by the Public Service Commissioner (Mr. T. Mark). j
Mr. G. S. Clark, Registrar of the Supreme Court in Hamilton, has been appointed Registrar of the Supreme Court in Wellington in place of Mr. W. W. Samson, who is retiring at the end of this month.
Mr. E. G. Rhodes, Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court in Wellington, is to be Registrar of the Supreme Court in Gisborne.
Other changes are: — Mr. P. D. Leahy, Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court, Christchurch, to be Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court, Wellington. Mr. A. E. Reynolds, Clerk of the Magistrate's Court, Wellington, to be Registrar of the Supreme Court, HamilMr J. T. A. Beaumont, Clerk in the Supreme Court, Wellington, to be Second Clerk and Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court, Palmerston North. - ' Mr A. L. Tresidder, Registrar of the Supreme Court, Nelson, to be Clerk of the Magistrate's Court, Wellington. Mr A J. Bennetts, Second Clerk of the Magistrate's Court, Christchurch, to be Registrar of the Supreme Court, Blenheim. Mr. W. Parker, Registrar of the Supreme Court, Westport, to be Registrar of the Supreme Court, Nelson. Mr. C O. Pratt, Clerk of the Magistrate's Court, Hawera, to be Registrar of the Supreme Court, Wanganui. Mr. A. R. C. Claridge, Second Clerk of the Magistrate's Court and Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court, Palmerston North, to be Clerk of the Magistrate's Court, Hawera. Mr. F. S. R. Knight, Clerk of the Magistrate's Court and Acting Registrar of the Supreme Court, Auckland, to be Registrar of the Supreme Court, Auckland: Mr. H. V. Jerred, Deputy Clerk of the Magistrate's Court, Auckland, to be Clerk of the Magistrate's Court. Auckland. Mr. T. P. Pain, Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court, Dunedin, to be Registrar of the Supreme Court, Whangarei. Mr. W. J- Blacker, Clerk of the Courts,. Gore, to be Registrar of the Supreme Court, Westport. Mr. J. J. W. Pooley,' Clerk of the Magistrate's Court, Ashburton, to be Clerk of the Courts, Gore.
