MOTOR-CAR INSPECTION

(To the Editor.)

Sir,-—Being one of the hundreds of motorists in this city there is a point I should like to bring before the authorities regarding the City Counci' inspection for the warrant of fitness. Some months ago one could go to the council yards between noon and 1 p.m. and have one's car tested in that hour, which is very convenient for people working between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. without losing time.

Today I went to get my car tested at the noon hour and found a notice "Closed for' Lunch" on the door. Surely some arrangements could be made to cope with motorists in the same position as myself.—l am, etc.,

MOTORIST.

March 28.
