; : * : : MIRAMAR "GIRL CITIZENS" [ ■ . t .. t Last night the Y.W.C.A., Miramar, ] presented a scene of great activity > when the ladies' committee invited 1 parents and friends the Girl Citizens to attend a club night in order that they } might see the type of weekly pro- \ gramme that is being presented, i Fifty girls, the majority of whom at- ' tend secondary school, entered into the ' physical period of rhythmic exercises [ and folk dancing, conducted by Miss ; Helen Macdonald, of Canada, the » newly-appointed physical director to the Y.W.C.A. [ Miss Bridgman, general secretary of \ the Y.W.C.A., introduced Miss Mac- \ donald and Miss Saunders (girls' work \ secretary) to the parents. In order to assist the Y.W.C.A. Street Day, the Miramar Y.W.C.A. committee had organised a very successful bring and buy stall, which was well patronised by those present. The evening also marked the opening of the business girls' "gym.," and all the members en- . tered into the exercises with real appreciation and enjoyment.
