The Ohinemuri Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting opened today in ideal weather. The track was good and there was a large attendance. Results:—

Karangahake Handicap, £200; two-year-olds; 5 furlongs.—3-3 Brazen Bold, 7.0 (Evans)', 1; 1-1 Heroic Maid, 8.2 (Gilchrist), 2; 7-6 Surmise, 7.5 (Home), 3. Scr.: Meadow, Biddy Girl, Chelandry. Half a length; two and a half lengths. Time, lmin 0 3-ssec.
