OFFICERS COMPLIMENTED

Several Lower Hutt councillors,- at a council meetings last evening, complimented the Borough Engineer; Mr. J. Andrews, a\sq added his congratulations to Mr. Bach, but said he was sure Mr. Bach would agree that the successful completion %f the work this season was largely due to the supervision of Mr. G. F. Hogg and the invention by him of a special spreader which enabled the work to be more efficiently and mor« speedily completed., The apparatus had cost only £16, but had been wortb a mint of money to the council.
