COTTON INDUSTRY

REORGANISATION IN BRITAIN

RUGBY, March 9,

The President of the Board of Trade, Mr. Oliver Stanley, announced in the House of Commons today the Government's decision to proceed with a Bill embodying proposals for the reorganisation of the cotton industry, a draft of which was the subject of a recent ballot in the industry.

The Bill, which will follow closely the draft published last year, will be introduced in the House of Commons next week.
