BASEBALL PICNIC

The first annual picnic of the Wellington Baseball (Softball) Association was held at Maidstone Park on Sunday. There were over 300 people present A. full programme of sports events had been arranged, and under the direction of Mr. A. Jenkins, the organiser, everything ran to schedule. The high light of the day, the Umpires y. executive baseball match, resulted in a win for the umpires, who played well. The prizes were presented by Mrs. G. Bassant.
