AUCKLAND, This Day.

The death has occurred of Mr. Culford Bell, principal announcer at IYA, following a surgical operation. Born in London, Mr. Bell came to New Zealand 30 years ago, after spending his young manhood in Canada and. the United States. On the inauguration of IYA thirteen years ago he was I appointed senior announcer. He wast well known in dramatic and elocutions ary circles throughout New Zealand.
