OPTICIANS BILL
Comment on the laxity which the Opticians Bill still allows was expressed at the annual meeting of the Institute of Opticians of New Zealand. Members said that the public suffered through pedlars being allowed to go from door to door selling spectacles. It was decided tp recommend the executive to approach the Government to have an amendment, which has been waiting consideration for some years, given attention.
