TOMORROW'S LIST

Yesterday's programme in the local physical fitness campaign was quite a heavy one and provided in the evening the most spectacular event of the week, "A Night in Venice," a carnival held at Oriental Bay. In the afternoon the Public Service Sports Association held its annual athletic meeting at the Basin Reserve, and a large crowd witnessed a most successful gathering. Fine weather was essential yesterday, and, as it happened, a more pleasant day and evening could not have been the case.
