PETONE SCHOOLS

The Petone primary schools held their annual swimming competitions at the McKenzie Baths yesterday in ideal weather with a large attendance of parents and friends. Wilford School gained the championship with the most points, Murital, last year's champion, having to be content with second place, with Petone West third, Petone Convent fourth, and Petone Central fifth.
