"PYGMALION."

The record achievements by th* G.B.D. Release "Pygmalion," which began last October at the Leicester Square Theatre, London, and continued on at New York, Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, have now been continued in this Dominion. The New Zealand premiere of George Bernard ' Shaw's brilliant comedy took place at the Civic Theatre, Christchurch, on Friday last, where the previous opening record, held by "Wings of the Morning" was broken by a wide margin. For last Saturday's evening performance every seat in the theatre was r©> k served before noon. The picture met with a splendid reception from th« public and the local papers.
